Call for Papers: Special Issue on Zebrafish Models in Neuroscience Research

Neuroscience Bulletin invites researchers to submit their original research articles or review papers for a Special Issue titled “Zebrafish Models in Neuroscience Research”, scheduled for publication in December 2025.

Scope and Topics

Zebrafish have emerged as a pivotal model organism in neuroscience due to their genetic tractability, imaging accessibility, and behavioral versatility. This special issue aims to highlight cutting-edge advancements in zebrafish neuroscience, bridging basic research and clinical applications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Zebrafish functional neuroanatomy
  • Whole-brain imaging techniques
  • Neuroimaging of zebrafish brain circuits
  • Zebrafish models in neuroglia research
  • CNS disease modeling using zebrafish

We welcome interdisciplinary studies that integrate molecular, cellular, developmental, or systems-level approaches to advance our understanding of neural mechanisms.
